Finishes ~ Stains
Maple samples are shown above. Other wood options: Cherry, Walnut, Pine, Tiger Maple, Mild Tiger Maple and Wormy Chestnut. Natural means no stain, just lacquer. Natural and Honey Spice will show inherent imperfections in the wood such as heart, sap, and mineral streaks. Wormy Chestnut looks best with no stain (Natural) as the patina variation stands out. Tiger and Mild tiger maple look best with Nutmeg or lighter stains because the tiger striping stands out. Walnut is always medium brown but can be stained to provide color warmth. Up to four stain samples can be mailed ($4 per mailer) but the $4 would be credited to your furniture order. Stain samples are also available for pick up @ no charge from our Showroom in Sperryville, VA.
